Where to Eat
From local legends to hidden gems, these are some of our favorite places to grab a bite (or two).
ROST, Ängelholm
We had to put this one at the top of the list. Saying they serve the best burger we’ve ever had feels like an understatement. Every burger we’ve tried here has been its own flavour adventure. And the desserts? Absolutely killer.
It’s a bit of a trip outside Helsingborg, but trust us, it’s totally worth it.
Sillen & Makrillen, Helsingborg
A little fancy getaway to soak in the charm of Helsingborg. With sea views, fresh seafood, and top-tier service, this spot is everything you need to feel like you’re truly on vacation.
Spend an afternoon here, and you’ll understand exactly why I fell in love with the city.
MAX, Anywhere
Okay, we had to include this one. Some say it’s the best fast food restaurant to ever exist. Think of it as the IKEA of fast food (in the best way).
They serve classic burgers with a little more variety and a Swedish twist. It’s quick, satisfying, and kind of iconic in its own way.

Tura, Helsingborg - Helsingør
Some say the best place to visit in Helsingborg is Denmark. We won’t argue, but what really makes it special is the journey itself.
The ferry ride from Helsingborg to Helsingør is an experience in its own right. Whether you hop off to explore or just stay onboard for some duty-free shopping and drinking, it’s a little adventure you won’t forget.
Kärnan, Helsingborg
Take a hike through history and soak in the present from the top of Kärnan’s 146-step tower. Standing proudly in the heart of Helsingborg, this fortress is surrounded by a lush park. Perfect for a picnic, an ice cream break, or simply taking in the views.
And if the magic in the air feels extra strong, it might be because two couples once got engaged there...
Sunbath
Helsingborg is the Indonesia of Sweden. Well, in the summer at least. When the weather’s on your side (it’s not every day), make the most of it!
Run down to Gröningen for a sunny swim, or hop on a bus to the charming shores of Domsten. Just don’t forget your swimsuit. When the sun decides to show up, nothing beats a Helsingborg beach holiday...
